The Melbourne-born driver is lining up for his first race at Albert Park in the Formula 1 on Sunday, April 2.
He'll be hoping to pull off a surprise win in just his third race at the top level for McLaren.
Aussie champ Daniel Ricciardo will not be in the drivers' seat at the Albert Park track for the first time since 2012, having taken a reserve driver role with his former team, Red Bull.
World champion Max Verstappen (Red Bull) will be looking to make amends on last year's performance down under, when he was forced to retire due to an engine fire.
Meanwhile, 2022 Australian Grand Prix winner Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) will have some ground to make up after a shaky start to the year if he wants to go back-to-back.
When to watch
The grand prix action will take over Albert Park in Melbourne from March 30 to April 2.
The Formula 1 race starts at 3pm on Sunday, April 2.
The drivers will also be out on track for practice and qualifying sessions on Friday and Saturday.
However, the racing goes beyond Formula 1, with the Porsche Carrera Cup, Supercars, Formula 2 and Formula 3 across the weekend.
For those looking to watch on from home, coverage of the on-track action will be live on Network 10 and Foxtel/Kayo.

Public transport is recommended for getting to and from Albert Park with extra tram services from Southern Cross and Flinders Street train stations.
Tram travel is free to and from the event for ticket holders on the day of admission.
