That's so customers can try on new clothing purchases and decide whether to keep them or send them back, in what Post describes as an "optimised returns process".
The first concept store is set to appear in Orange in regional NSW in July.
A Post spokesperson told ACM it had not yet announced which other regional towns would benefit from the refurbishment.
The stores, which aim to act as hubs for local communities, will also feature parcel lockers and focus on supporting local businesses through a retail space to showcase their products.
According to Australia Post's 2023 Inside Australian Online Shopping Report, the new stores will also provide "digitally led in-store experiences" and "better self-service options".
It comes amid a rise in eCommerce with 82 per cent of all Australian households shopping online in the past year, the report revealed.
"Aussies' love affair with online shopping has not waned, even with restrictions removed," Australia Post executive general manager parcel, post and eCommerce services Gary Starr said.
"By 2023, we expect around one in three dollars will be spent online."
